Who would dare?

Open days radioshows  The point was to test all our radiophonic equipment in a non-radiophonic setting, to draw locals to our new radio and involve them in the project by encouraging their participation. During these open days, anyone could propose starting their own radio program. Let the show begin

The inspiration for the programs came from a mix of life experiences in Salento, past Radio backgound from our Radio Director Domenico and new ideas from our crazy, enthusiastic radio Friends. The general participation alone was enough to set us off for a year. Cool! Great for us! But someone had to keep it all together, make it realistic, and actually get it on air. HOW TO START A RADIO FROM NOTHING

First, there was an irresistible drive to re-start a radio. Then came the inspiration for a faraway place in the south of Italy. By following our instincts, we arrived at Villa Paciugo as volunteers. All fine for us: the place was perfect and the people willing and enthusiastic about Domenico’s radio project idea.
